The Problem with the
Industry Standard
Over the last few decades, the archery industry has evolved A LOT! We've gone from long bows and recurve bows to High-Speed
compound bows and EVEN FASTER high-speed crossbows. We're talking 300+ fps for compound bows and 500+ fps
on crossbows! We've gone from Aluminum Arrows to High-Modulus Carbon-Fiber arrows.
Arrows now come in all different sizes from large in diameter to as slim as possible!
Even with all of these changes, the thought process behind both designing and manufacturing an arrow shaft
and building a "quality arrow" for has not kept up with the times.

The Solution
Recognizing the gap between function and concept, we at Wing and Tail Outdoors made it our
goal to investigate the science behind arrow flight and to bring you, the consumer, THE TRUTH about arrows and arrow flight.
With the knowledge and information we gathered along the way and with the help of Dorge Huang of Firenock, we set out to build arrows in a way that compensates for the cons
of bow-and-arrow combinations and thus, a tailor-made arrow for each customer that
offers the MOST CONSISTENT AND PREDICTABLE arrows possible!
